        <![CDATA[In serious accident cases, a vocational rehabilitation expert is often required to testify for the Plaintiff to support a future lost wage claim. &nbsp;This sometimes requires a disability rating.<div><br /></div><div>Disability is an occupational concept that predicts a person's ability to sustain employment at the level that would have but for the disability. &nbsp;Vocational disability does not automatically result in future lost wages. &nbsp;If the Plaintiff can no longer be a farmer but can do another job that provides the same earnings, &nbsp;But if there is a loss or decreased ability to earn a living that leads to economic loss, than you have a future loss of earnings that often needs to be defined by a vocational rehabilitation expert.</div>]]>

        <![CDATA[<h1><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 13px; "><i>The Frederick News-Post</i> reported - according to the Baltimore Sun - that Maryland State police announced that Damascus man died after his <a href="http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/local/bal-fatal0427,0,6145243.story">motorcycle crashed</a> into the rear of stopped car of a 16 year-old girl in 
Frederick County.  The car that was rearended was on Route 80 to make a left turn at Chaucer Court in 
Monrovia on Saturday night.  The motorcyclist was flown to Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, where police say he died about four 
hours later.</span></h1><h1><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 13px;"><br /></span></h1><h1><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 13px;">This is an awful tragedy.  I don't know anything about the facts of this particular accident beyond what is written above.  But I know that a lot of otherwise great people drive their motorcycles too fast.  Motorcycles are such dangerous instrumentalities.  It is always safer to be in a car but, driven with extreme care, the risk of motorcycle accidents can be substantially decreased by driving with extreme care. </span></h1><h1><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 13px;"><br /></span></h1><h1><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 13px;">Yet it seems motorcyclists are actually getting more reckless and the result our accident lawyers in Maryland are seeing is more motorcycle injuries.  While motorcycle 
registrations actually decreased from 2005 to 2006,  fatal motorcycle accidents actually increased by 
5.7 percent. There has also been a rise in fatal motorcycle accidents nationally - and I assume in Maryland - in people over 50 years-old.</span></h1> ]]>
